Wired Home WHIRR-KJ IR Receiver Keystone Jack
Wired Home WHIRR-KJ IR Receiver Keystone Jack is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from does not work well with xantechDoes not work well with xantech ir blocks and emitters. Will pass most frequencies but not all. The wired home block has a sensitivity adj. on the ir block to work better, the xantech does not. It was not passing the frequencies for my a/v switch box, hooked up a xantech receiver to the xantech block and all was good. The wired home rep said it needed to be adjusted down on the sensitivity, which the wired home block will do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value and PerformanceCan work with most systems. There are three connections, + for +12V, - for -12V and S for the Signal Output. No output for status light. Will work with Levington Quick Port Face Plates, not sure why the comment that it is not compatible in the product description.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works GreatThe units I purchased worked better then there specifications. They are interfacing seamlessly into my system (not finished as of yet). They worked with all of my remote control units from over 10 different manufacturers with at least 6 basic codes. I put some in small project boxes so I could place them on the TV and this worked great as well. They look good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very good value, Hard to connectThe unit is a very good value considering the next target is $35. Wires are hard to orient and lock with the lever style connector. Seems to receive IR signal well.
