Winegard HD-1080 2-Bay Bowtie Outdoor HDTV Antenna
Do these work if you just plug the coax directly into the back of the tv or do you need some type of converter box as well?
If you have a TV or HDTV with a digital tuner, every TV manufactured after March 2007, you can connect an antenna directly to the antenna input and receive all of your local digital and HDTV broadcast signals. After connecting the antenna, just run channel scan and the TV will add the digital channels to the tuner.

What are the included accessories?
I have a defunct dish network sat. dish mounted on my roof. I plan to use the " Winegard DS-1111 Antenna S-Mount for Satellite Dish 39" (210-130) with this antenna. Is there other parts I need to get beyond the mount and this antenna? Cables? adapters etc?
If you buy a Winegard SS-1000 (210-118), you can simply remove the dish from the mount and replace it with the antenna. Worked great for a few other people I've recommended to.

Can I split and hook up 2 TVs?
I have 2 TVs I'd like to hook up... so really this question is about HD antennas in general, but can you split the signal and send to 2 TVs? I would assume an amp of some sort would be necessary though. Thanks in advance!
You can use a good quality splitter on an HD antenna just like the old style antenna for analog channels. If you think you need a stronger signal, forget the useless amps and get a larger antenna. Amps are only good for splitters of multiple outputs to make up for splitter loss, but do not make the reception any better.

How well do these perform in an attic?
We live in Plano Texas, a suburb approximately 25 miles from most towers. This is arguably the most flat part of the country.... My HOA will not allow outside antenna's and therefore need performance inside my one story attic, your thoughts?
Although it's not marketed as indoor/outdoor, we do have several reviews from customers using it in their attics with good results. I would encourage you to try it. If you're not completely satisfied for any reason, simply take advantage of our 45-day no hassle return policy.
