Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff, used in a pro setting.I've been using this stuff in a professional recone setting as surround dope, as well as cone coating. I have ZERO issues with it. Works great. Some reviewers have compared it to Modge Podge, which is NOT the same thing. This coating is made by C.P. Moyen, a company that specializes in adhesives and coatings for the speaker industry. Don't use something else just because it LOOKS like the same thing. Used correctly, pro results will be achieved.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Elmer's?I kind of feel like I just put watered down Elmer's glue on a vintage speaker! My glue came in a generic plastic container with no label, or application instructions. To make it more fun the bottle opened during shipping.Luckily they were obviously familiar with this issue and had wrapped the bottle in a bag beforehand. Without correct instructions, I had one speaker turn out quite poorly. You can see streak marks in the dried product. Also, DO NOT APPLY to a paper dust cap!Second speaker went much better and looks great.Hmm...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from THIS IS MOD PODGE you can buy it at a craft storeThis is Mod Podge, you can find it at Michael's or CraftMart or just online. Even Mod Podge comes in two flavors, matte and glossy. This one is just glossy and it doesn't flatter cones that well either. Now the black is dyed Mod Podge but who wants to mess with dyes... so the black is a good deal.. This stuf.. save your dough and shipping money. Still have not received and email confirming my return of four said cans.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bunk stuff - go to Wal Mart insteadI want to know if I can return all four cans of this garbage. Same stuff as Modge Podge available at WalMart and craft stores for around $3, no shipping. Black version is only slightly darker than the clear. Make sure you use a sprayer too, leaves brush marks unless you basically pour it on and let it dry thick.. But then you could just do that with some 2 part epoxy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good stuff............ but.........We should've told you about this a long time ago. We know we aren't the only customers to experience this.Out of all the cans of this stuff we've ordered and used, only one can did not have oxidation and corrosion that contaminated the product. The longer it sits on the shelf, the worse it gets, and after the can has been opened, the problem worsens logarhythmically. Once we lost 75% of the product to contamination. It was like there was a rock in the can. The liquid was actually clumping into a black solid mass. We've learned to remove the product from the can as soon as we get it, and store it in plastic bottles. It should be packaged and sold this way to begin with. The problem doesn't seem to affect the Black like it does the Clear. Still, we don't trust it to sit in the can, so we store it in plastic bottles also. The problem is caused by a chemical reaction between the product and the type of material the can is made of. When the two materials come into contact with each other, a natural phenomenon occurs.Changing the packaging to plastic would solve the issue. In my opinion, it should be sold in a squeeze bottle. Cans produce a lot of wasted material and require detailed clean-up.
