Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy flowing, low temp solderNot the cheapest solder...but flows great and has a low temp melting point- making it easy to use. Makes clean solder joints and re-flows easily for fixes if needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back to WBT!This is the best solder I've ever used. I've been working on electronics for over 40 years. And now I have a hobby of building speakers. For awhile recently, I went back to the solders I could get locally. They were much harder to work with. And the stuff I built with the cheaper solder didn't sound as good either. So, easy to work with, sounds great. I'm back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Solder I've Ever UsedBefore trying this WBT silver solder, the best I'd used was TRT's Wonder Solder. By "best" I'm referring to ease of use in terms of flowing at low temperature, going where you want it to go, solidifying quickly, and not creating any sonic problems--sounding as good as a well-crimped connection, in other words. The WBT seems to flow at an even lower temperature and go where you want it to go even better than Wonder Solder.Be aware that this solder seems to have a very high rosin content. You will need to clean the tip of your soldering iron frequently. But once you figure this out after a few tries, a wipe on a damp sponge is all you need to keep your iron at maximum efficiency.

What length of wire solder is this?

Is this a 20 FT roll ? how long is this roll ?
Asked by: Strader
Solder is generally sold by weight, not length. However, doing a bit of quick and dirty math, we can estimate that if 1/8 lb. = 2 oz., 0.9mm = 0.0354", and a simliar diameter product (370-050) in a 0.50 oz. container is approximately 15 ft., that this 2 oz. package would amount to something on the order of 50-60 feet. I can't guarantee that figure, but it should be at least in the ballpark.
