Isn't the second magnet "in-phase" with the first for increased sensitivity, not "out-of-phase" for purposes of shielding?
No, this magnet is out-of-phase for the purposes of shielding.

Can anybody recommend a woofer for this tweeter for a 2 way monitor? Also does anybody have a crossover schematic for this tweeter?
Nermal hello. Before I can provide you with perspective, it would be imminently helpful, to have some questions clarified. Do you have a specific budget in mind? What application do you intend to deploy these drivers within (2 channel, car audio, etc.......)? With the addition of a 2nd magnet, and increased rear chamber size, there is a reduction of distortion, and increase in sensitivity, both, benefits. If you can answer the stated questions above, I will happily do my best to address your inquiry.

Are there significant differences among the various XT25 variants?
People often talk about how much they like their Vifa XT25's but I see the manufacturer offers several variations, such as the XT25TG30-04, XT25BG60-04, XT25SC90-04, etc. I see the specs (and costs) are not identical, but I'm not sure how significant the differences are. I'm looking for a pair of XT25 tweeters for a car audio project, capable of crossing at ~2,500 Hz. Is there one model that would be better suited than the others for this application?Thanks!
Well, yes, and the answers get very technical very rapidly. In the "Closeout specials" there are a pair of Vifa dome tweeters for $10.10 and $10.00 each respectively. One, BC25SC55-04 I have 4 of has a square frame, the other has a smaller rectangular frame. For a car audio application, I'd suggest either of these from a size and "band-for-the-buck" standpoint, although both would ideally be crossed at about 3000Hz. From the response graphs and from my limited "testing" with them, they'll behave well below that, depending on your exact application. Clay, the audio environment in 99% of the vehicles on the road is abysmal at best. Road noise, wind noise, etc. kills quality sound. Even sitting still, a vehicle has all kinds of strange "nodes" and "reflections" from speakers that can't be placed in even "acceptable" positions. At some point, we reach the "point of diminishing returns"; you spend 5 times the money for a 1% sonic improvement. There is also the very real issue of durability of "home speaker" tweeters in an automotive placement.

Can the outer ring of this tweeter be removed from the inner tweeter by removing three screws near the inner circle?
The faceplate is mounted to the magnet assembly with the 3 screws to which you refer. These screws would appear to be 2mm or 2.5mm hex screws. Also of note is that the faceplate is glued down with a sealant or epoxy of some ilk, so the faceplate can be removed, but I cannot remove one here and leave myself with a product that could be sold as new.
