from Fragile, but a good performer. These are really great performers. Low Fs, low distortion and smooth frequency response.Unfortunately they are not the most robust tweeters to have to live with. I put some of these in my car and came across a strange issue - on hot days they pressurize and the domes become forced outwards, making them play significantly quieter as the voice coil is held out of the gap. You may run into a similar problem in extremely cold environments. The metal domes are also extremely fragile so this is probably not the best choice if little fingers will have access to them :). Also be aware that the powerful neo magnet will try to suck the mounting screws off your screwdriver and into the fragile dome as you are installing them.

from Great overseas serviceThe parts I ordered arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Of special note: the parts became unavailable due to a supply shortage (effected all retailers worldwide, as I was to later learn), so I double checked all other possible sources.Other sellers almost universally listed the weight of the items incorrectly and therefore charged a fortune in overseas postage eg one British retailer listed them as 1lb each whereas my entire order of 6 units only came to 0.7kg (1.55lb). Imagine the freight charge for 6lb from the UK to Australia when I should have been charged for only one and half as Parts Express did.I'll pay extra for honesty any day, but the unit price was higher everywhere else with some European, South African and Asian vendors charging double the Parts Express price!!

from A lot of tweeter with a small footprintI used this in my Piccolata design, and for a set of desktops built by a friend. This is an excellent, clear, bright little tweeter with excellent dispersion and low Fs (especially for a 3/4") One of the better small faceplate tweeters out there.Downsides, the dome and "protecting" bars are very fragile. It's clearly metric, and the flange is quite small. You'll need to be spot on with your routing if you flush mount. Not much clearance between the holes and body. I used #4 screws and just hand tightened them. Fine with baltic birch, not sure about MDF. If you are not certain about your drilling and routing skills, the NE25 may be a better choice.
