Vifa D27TG35-06 1" Silk Dome Tweeter
is this for a 3 inch opening
This is designed to fit a hole that is 3-1/8" in diameter.

Would the Vifa D277G35-06 be a suitable replacement for a Focal T120 (allso a 6 ohm tweeter with same frequency response). I am worried about the fit. I will remeasure but a data sheet I found on the web says it is 120 mm (rounded rectangle)
Since the impedance is the same the crossover point will not change, however the fit is something that may have to be modified. The dimensions of this tweeter are in the specs and it is a bit smaller than 120mm.

good day to you.... may I ask a favor from you?... I would like to know the distance in inches between the 3 triangular screws that hold the faceplate to the tweeter. I think it should be right at 2 inches between them. could you let me know please..
The three screw holes that hold the faceplate on are 2" apart.

I am looking to replace tweeters in paradigms studio 100 v2. i want to keep the original faceplate and would like to know if those 3 faceplate screws would fit over the original. i tried some vifa d25ag-35 06 before that were perfect. but no longer availa
Unfortunately we have no cross reference for the holes for this type of thing. If you would call or email our tech support, we could pull a tweeter from stock and measure the distance between the holes if you would like.

92db with 8ohm crossover?
I am considering using these with a pair of the 292-408 gsr woofers wired in parallel "dual woofer" and the 299-416 celestion 5" mid is this tweeter to "hot" to match the others? I recall reading somewhere that one would have db lose with "lower ohms" which in this case would be a good thing.I dont want this tweeter to be "shrill" in comparison.I WILL be using the 260-150 3 way crossover @ 3k.
This tweeter is rated at 6ohms. Two in parallel in the same box? That would be a 3ohm load on the crossover and would likely be too loud for the other speakers. A series wiring setup would be better if you want to lower the volume and at 12ohms (handle) more power. If I misunderstood the question, and you want one in each box--(and if the tweeter is too loud to balance the speaker components) you could add an 8 or 16ohm resistor (PE has good ones) at the driver + side (after the crossover). 8ohms reduces the level 3-4db 16ohms reduces it by 6-8db. Total load is 14 or 22ohms here.

when used in 8ohm application?
I would like to use these in a three way setup with dayton crossover 260-150 using either the celestion 5" or the discontinued Aura Ns6 6" as the mid @3000hz.any issues or suggestions at 8ohms? I was also looking at the vifa 264-500 3/4 poly dome and was wondering if I would be better served with a 1in over a 3/4in speaker I already have a large cutout and they will be covered tightly with cloth so I need them to "sit back" a bit in the cabinets.
A 1" will handle that crossover point better so I would stick with this model. You can use a 6 ohm tweeter on an 8 ohm crossover, the crossover point will go up slightly because of this.
