UV 5mm LED 200 mcd 100 Piece Kit with Voltage Dropping Resistors
What resistor to use for 120ac
for a single device? These are LEDs. they can only be used with DC power supplies. Conceivably you could have one chain going one way and a second chain going the other way but that would yield an unplesant strobing effect. So you need a bridge rectifier. (I wish parts Express carried the DB104 or similar). -- you can build the same circuit with loose diodes. You would then use a 100uF/250v capacitor, and obtain 150VDC. So you would make a chain of 42 LEDs, which leaves (very approximately; many variables) 10 volts of DC to drop, which is fairly reasonable. You need to pass .06 ampres so the resistance is somewhere around 166 ohms... Nearest standard value is 180 ohms. If you don't want 42 LEDs in series, then you're going to need some kind of transformer or a normal DC power supply.

How many nm are the leds?
I understand that the lower the nm the better, so i wanted to know, how many nm is it?
These have a wavelength of 400 nM
