Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Replacement Tweeters for Eosone RSF 1000All 4 of my eosone 1rd0010-1 tweeters were blown and these are exact replacements, even the screw holes matched perfectly. Glad I found them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stopped working after 18 monthsPurchased 2 of the tweeters and one is very defective after 18 months because it makes a scratching sound. The speaker cabinet assembly is not the problem because it has been verified. (eg ohmmeter)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vifa Tymphany 3/4 Poly Dome Tweeter D19TD-05After wading through endless reviews of different tweeters and experimenting with other brands, I settled on the Vifa Tymphany and was not disappointed. I have a rather large three way setup with a 12" bass, 8" Fountek mid-bass (superb) - so the tweeters were critical: otherwise the setup would of become bass heavy. Which was not the case nor are they shrill. The tweeters meld in nicely with the other speakers, almost seamless. Delivery to the door in Sydney Australia a couple of days! Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AmazingThis tweeter went to the Netherlands, were i build more loudspeakers and this tweeter is able to project the sound very 3d into the room. Excellent !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install - fit my cabinets perfectly!Recently I used these Vifa tweeters & Dayton crossovers to replace those in my 1977 RTR G-200 towers; simple to install, relatively inexpensive and the speakers sound great. The replacement midrange & passive radiators were a previous purchase. So far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on Infinity Reference One bookshelfMy old polycell tweeters had gone out on my infinity Reference One bookshelf speakers. I decided to take the plunge as I couldn't think of a comparable speaker that I could purchase for the price of these speakers. They worked out well.

Can a amplifier even see impedance of this HF transducer thru a passive x-over? Single or pairs at such low wattage with such high efficiency might be negligable without a load. I've never considered ohms in such low voltage applications. Repercussions?

Asked by: sailfish
Yes an amp will see a load on a high frequency driver regardless of high pass used, but the load will be very small.

Can this tweeter work with the Dayton 3.5K crossover? or should I use the 4.5K crossover?

Asked by: Unbiasedsound
You would be safer if you went to 4k or higher. The bottom end response of this tweeter is 3500Hz

I want to use 2 of these in each speaker cabinet and still have an 8 ohm load to the amplifier. How do I do it? Do they come in 4 or 16 ohm versions?

Asked by: nikko
You need 4 speakers to wire them series parallel and keep the 8 ohm load. A 4 or 16 ohm version is not available. You could also add a 4 Ohm wire wound resistor in series with 2 paralleled speakers to "simulate" an 8 ohm load.
