Product Details

Two Conductor Screw Terminals for Amplifier Boards 10 Pcs.

This set of ten two-conductor screw-down terminals were designed with amplifier boards in mind. Rated up to 300 VAC at 10 amps, these are perfect for use as power and ground input terminals as well as speaker output terminals and accept 12 to 22 AWG wire. The side stackable design allows you to build a continuous strip of terminals.

The 5 mm pin pitch (center-to-center pin spread) and 4 mm pin length also make these ideal for use with just about any circuit board design. Wire compression is set via the top 4 mm flat head screw. Overall body dimensions (not including pins): 11 mm W x 10.5 mm D x 15 mm H.

Two Conductor Screw Terminals for Amplifier Boards 10 Pcs. is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great to Expand Amplifier BoardsThese fit perfectly into the Sure Amplifier Boards and allow you to add/remove wires without permanent soldering into projects (ie Power, Mute Function, Daisy Chaining). The terminals are flat pieces that are screwed down to a wire to make a connection. There is no strain relief, but in the correct application hold bare wire very well.A clever feature is there ability to be slid together to make larger blocks. If you plan on using these for another project, I have included PCB layout(measurements are in mm). Also below are the manufacturer's specs. My only complaint is that you can get similar products for much cheaper.**Electrical Specifications**Part No.: RJ128Pitch: 5mmRated: 300V 10AContact Resistance: 20mΩ Max.Insulation Resistance: 5000MΩ Min.Dielectric Strength: 2000VAC Min. for 60 seconds**Mechanical Specification**Temp Range: -40℃~+105℃Max Soldering: +250℃,5sTorque: 0.4Nm(3.5Lb·in)Wire Range: 22-12AWGStrip Length: 6-7mm**Part & Material**Body: PA66,UL94 V-0Screw: Steel, Zn platingTerminal: Brass, Tin platingClamp: Brass, Ni plating

OK for power input on the 2X100 watt class D boards?

i want to make sure that this will replace the coax dc input socket on the 2 x100 watt class d amp boards.i have one running and dont like the tiny coax socket.so can i unsolder that and solder this in the same place?
Asked by: clod
These will not fit in the holes for the coax dc input socket. However both the 2x100W TK2050 Class-D (PE# 320-334) and 2x100W TDA7498 Class-D (PE# 320-303) have spots to put these connectors for DC power input. The spot right next to the coax dc input socket there are two holes marked Vcc and GND. Place these screw terminals there. The other side of the board also has Vcc and GND which also fit these connectors for piggy backing the power supply. Additionally TK2050 has +5V and MUTE. While the TDA7498 has STBY(Standby) GND and MUTE/GND. These all accommodate these screw terminals. Notice how the silkscreen layer has the boxes combined. These screw term are interlocking and made for these boards.
