Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3 years old and still sound great.I live in Winnipeg Canada and these are outside year round. The temperature here gets to minus 40 in the winter and these have never been inside. Probably one of the best purchases in my life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Whatttt??Was going to place this under my deck. Couldn't hear it at all. Now it sits under the deck table. Now I can put my hand on it to detect bass at least. Saw some reviews where people liked that it doesn't thump like a boom box. If that's a problem turn that channel down. I wanted bass to enhance my 4 little bose outdoor speakers I have mounted on the corner poles of my deck. This is useless for me. I need some bass! Why I bought an outdoor sub.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Speakers!I purchased 2 of these speakers and set them up in the yard and was impressed right away. they sounded great. I went ahead and buried them and it did change the sound and made it more "basy" but that was pretty easy to fix with my amp. The sound is nice and clear over our whole back yard even at low volumes. One word of warning is that these are big speakers. My wife is not terribly happy with the size. I was pretty sure I knew how big they would look when I ordered them but she was pretty surprised.I am happy with the quality of the construction. Only time will tell how they weather a Nebraska winter. I intend to put some plastic bags over them in the winter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the same as brand "B" in-ground speakersFired these up in my living room on a 1 meter speaker cable before installing them in my landscaping, and I'm glad I did. I really wanted them to be as good as the B*** Freespace speakers, at 1/3 the price. They are not. The bass response was not as good as some online reviewers had written. Simple as that. I was running the Lepai 7LP498E, 100 WPC amp with bluetooth, which I thought may have lacked the guts to push enough bass, but after buying a usedset of Freespace 51's, proved the amp wasn't at fault, and I sent these back. I'm sad to say, these are not a diamond in the rough. You are getting what you pay for, no more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Speaker Choice Of Disney!I recently went on vacation to Walt Disney World in Orlando, and being a huge audio enthusiast, I took note of the incredible sound-systems that provide the background music that creates an atmosphere for each attraction. Every park I visited utilised the TIC GS3 Omnispeakers, and despite their rather small size, they were able to provide audio that could cut through the noise of the crowds. The use of these units at Disney also proves that the GS3's  will stand the test of time and the elements. Some of them are over 15-20 years old and have handled the harsh Orlando weather, abuse from the public and not to mention the fact that these speakers are driven for hours each day. The bottom line is, if these speakers are rugged enough to be purchased by the likes of the Walt Disney Company, imagine what an addition they could be for your home.  (Disclaimer: I do not own a GS3 myself, this review is purely based on my personal experience of the GS3 in a commercial environment.)

We've bought 2 of these over the last 10 years. They're great but now I need Bluetooth. Anything available or coming?

Asked by: cLWino
We are not aware of any such updates, but we do sell several Bluetooth adapters that can be added to most stereo systems such as part # 320-359 and 320-355.

Can these speakers run at a lower impedance? I want to buy a Sherwood rx4109 and use both a and b speakers to run my 4 gs3's I have. Will this amplifier operate with all 4 speakers going? Thanks

Asked by: Johnp06
That receiver is only designed to handle 8 ohm loads whether you use one set of outputs or both together. If you want to have these running together with the ability to switch two off, I would recommend the multi room receiver below.http://www.parts-express.com/sherwood-rx-5502-multi-room-stereo-receiver--252-120

How is this wired into a receiver? Can I use the subwoofer ports that are in the back of my SONY receiver?

Asked by: Deschet
These are designed to be powered off of the speaker outputs just like any other speaker. Unfortunately they cannot be powered through the subwoofer output directly.

What is the minimum wattage needed to power these speakers. I have a receiver with 75W per channel. Is this enough? If not, should I just buy an amp? If I'm running speaker wire 100' from the receiver, should I use 14/2 AWG?

Asked by: LAUREN
There really is no such thing as minimum wattage for a speaker. 75 watts will be plenty for something like this. If the amplifier happens to shut down or clip when you crank it up you will need more power but I don't think that will be a real problem. 14/2 will be fine for this application.
