PAYMENT METHODS

C.O.D.  #TJCOD#(Phone orders only) COD is available via phone orders, shipped via FedEx, to customers within the (including Hawaii and Alaska) and Puerto Rico. Sorry, we do not ship COD to a post office box address. FedEx charges a $9.00 fee per box.

        Company Check - New customers, please provide a copy of your company check, attention Accounting Department, before placing your order. Provide a phone number where you can be reached in the event Accounting must contact you.

        Money Order/Personal Check - Eligible after you place at least one prepaid or credit card order.

Call 800-338-0531 to verify the COD total before writing your check or money order.  

CHARGE CARDS - Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Amex are available to customers within the United States and Canada.   

PREPAID - Mailed orders paid with a company or personal check are held 10 days for clearing. Orders paid with guaranteed funds (money order, cashier's check, certified check, wire transfer) ship within 24 hours of receipt. Please see "IMPORTANT NOTES" concerning partial shipments and backorders.

OPEN ACCOUNT - (Phone/Mail orders only.) Open account status is granted to public schools, hospitals, and government offices with a hardcopy purchase order. Other applicants, please Click here for forms to establish open account payment terms. Open account terms are Net 30 days from invoice date. Parts Express reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law on all balances not paid within the above stated terms.

PAYPAL - If you choose the Pay Pal option and do not have a Pay Pal account, you may register at http://www.paypal.com/ and then submit your payment to payments@parts-express.com.  Once we receive confirmation of deposit from Pay Pal, your order will ship and a confirmation of shipment emailed. Restrictions: Pay Pal terms are available only to registered and verified Pay Pal buyers. Order must ship to bill-to address on file with Pay Pal.     

WIRE TRANSFER -  Customer pays fees imposed by the sending and receiving bank. Over payments are applied as a credit on file toward future purchases. Email sales@parts-express.com to obtain bank routing information.

OHIO CUSTOMERS - We are required by law to collect 6.5% Ohio state sales tax when orders ship to an Ohio address. Customers with a signed tax exempt certificate on file complete with a valid reason for claiming exemption are not charged sales tax.   

RETURNED CHECKS - We charge $20.00 for each returned check, plus any applicable legal fees incurred.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE - We ship orders Monday through Friday from our warehouse in Springboro, Ohio. Most orders ship the same day when received before 4:00 pm ET. USPS orders are shipped the following business day.

International customers are responsible for all duties, customs, taxes, broker, and any other import fees required at point of entry. Refused shipments are deemed abandoned and seized by the carrier and are non-refundable.   

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS �

Hazardous Materials - Orders containing hazardous or flammable materials, including aerosol cans, cannot ship via Air service or via USPS. We often recommend shipping these items via FedEx Ground separately, so that other urgent items can still be shipped via express methods.

Heavy/Oversized Shipments - Due to actual and/or dimensional weight, some orders require Common Carrier Truck Freight. You may advise us of your preferred carrier or we can assist you in finding the lowest rate. Terms are Freight Collect.  

Shipping Charges - Shipping charges are determined by actual and/or dimensional weight and destination, plus fees:

        Handling fee: $0.99

        Insurance: $.65 per $100 value. Parts Express pays insurance on first $100.  

        COD $9.00 per box.

        Saturday delivery fee (available with FedEx Air service): $15 (phone-in orders only)

BACKORDERS - Backorders are available to U.S. customers. When you order an item that is not in stock, you may select from the following options during your checkout:

        No Backorder: Ship what is available; cancel out-of-stock items from the order.

        Backorder: Ship all in-stock items. Out-of-stock items will ship when they become available with no additional shipping charges. If backordered items cannot be shipped within 60 days of the original order, the backorder will be cancelled.

Note:  Items less than $20 on COD orders are cancelled.  

MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

Purchase any of the quality products on this website and if for any reason you decide that the part does not suit your application or just isn't for you, simply return it to us, postage paid, within 45 days of the purchase date and we will promptly issue you a merchandise credit or refund, whichever YOU prefer. Return item in new, SALEABLE condition with all original factory packaging, accessories, and manuals/literature included to receive full merchandise credit. Please read Merchandise Returns Terms and Conditions below before returning products.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

  • LIMITED WARRANTY - All new products in the catalog, unless otherwise warranted in their description, are warranted only to be free of defects in material and workmanship for ninety (90) days from date of shipment. No purchase order or verbal advice shall alter this.
  • DISCLAIMER - There are no other warranties, either express or implied, which extend the foregoing, and there are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. We will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damage due to defective or improper use of, products.
  • REMEDY - We will at our election, and subject to availability, either replace, repair, or exchange any product we have sold with a defect in materials or workmanship, or issue a refund or credit for the purchase price plus applicable tax, providing you return such product to us, properly packaged and shipping prepaid, with a copy of your invoice and an explanation of the defect. The foregoing shall be the exclusive remedy for defective or nonconforming merchandise.

MERCHANDISE RETURNS TERMS & CONDITIONS

Refund exceptions made to this policy are for store credit only.  All other refunds are issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 7-10 business days for processing returns for exchange, refund, or credit. 

Please review all terms and conditions before returning product.  Restocking fees (up to 30%) or denied returns may apply when conditions are not met. 

Return all accessories, manuals/instructions, warranty cards, manufacturer packaging (including factory box, foam, fillers, and padding), and hardware (grills, screws, etc.) and printed material (booklets, manuals, instructions, etc.) Fees imposed to us by our supplier to replace packaging, hardware, or printed material will be deducted from the refund amount.

Product should be free of extreme odors such as cigarette smoke.

Package the product to protect it from damage in route to Parts Express. Insure the package for the value of the product. In the event the returned package is damaged in route to Parts Express due to insufficient packaging, you will file a claim with the shipper. Insufficient packaging may be cause for some shippers to deny damage claims.

Return postage-prepaid and insured via ground or parcel post using the return label provided with the online return form.  If this label is not used, please note your customer ID #, located on your invoice, clearly on the outside of your package.

NEW MERCHANDISE RETURNS �

If for any reason you decide the part does not suit your application or just isn't for you, simply return it in new, pristine condition within 45 days of the invoice date, postage paid, and we will provide a refund, less shipping and handling.   Merchandise returns over $250 require an RA#.  Email sales@parts-express.com or call 800-338-0531.

Do not return products with signs of use. I.e. mounting marks/scratches, solder on the connectors, sealing caulk, dirt, and sawdust or other debris.

Defective Merchandise Returns  

All products carry a minimum 90-day warranty against defects.  Some products are warranted thru the manufacturer and may require return shipment, postage paid, directly to the manufacturer.  See detailed warranty instructions for each product on the product page at our website.  If the product is returned to Parts Express, contact our Technical Support Team at 800-338-0531 to obtain a required RA#. 

All defective returns are evaluated upon receipt.  We do not refund defective returns as a result of mishandling or misuse.

Important Information about Speaker Returns:

The Technical Support team at Parts Express will gladly help you get the most from you speakers and is at your disposal with many years of combined experience, knowledge, and computer modeling programs to help you choose suitable speakers for your application.

Auditioning Your Speaker - To "audition" a speaker without scratching or marking it will require getting it into the speaker cabinet and listening to it play without actually mounting it with screws. This can be done by tilting the cabinet back and setting the speaker in place. If the cabinet has bare wire leads, just wrap them around the solder lug connector on the back of the speaker to make the electrical connections. A friend can help hold the speaker in place while you listen to the new speaker. This is, of course, not an optimal way to listen to a speaker, but will give you the opportunity to identify major response problems or poor tonal characteristics prior to mounting.

Speaker Returns - Variables such as sound and tone are subjective to the listener. While we do not guarantee the suitability of a specific speaker to a specific application, as with all products we sell, excluding books, computer software, and special ordered parts, we provide a period of 45 days from the date of invoice in which you may return any speaker for any reason.

The following conditions apply to full refunds:

  • The speaker must be in the new condition. This includes no mounting marks or scratches (especially around the mounting holes), no solder on the connectors, no sealing caulk, dirt, sawdust, or other debris. Speakers showing mounting marks or other indications of use will be evaluated and a restocking fee, starting at 25%, deducted from the refund amount. In extreme cases, no refund or credit may be offered.
  • Original cartons, outer shipping cartons, and boxes, (including factory packaging, foam, fillers, and padding), hardware such as grills, screws, and printed material such as booklets, manuals, and instructions must accompany the returned speaker. Fees imposed to us by our supplier to replace packaging, hardware, or printed material will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Package the product to protect it from damage in route to Parts Express. Insure the package for the value of the product. In the event the returned package is damaged in route to Parts Express due to insufficient packaging, you will file a claim with the shipper. Insufficient packaging may be cause for some shippers to deny damage claims.
  • Speaker Defects occur even in the most expensive of speakers from the most respected names in the business. Contact a Parts Express Technical Advisor immediately if you suspect you have received a defective speaker. We will provide a full refund, including return ground shipping charges.

    A speaker with a burned voice coil is not returnable for exchange, repair, refund, or credit, as this is not covered by its warranty. No exceptions. While we do not accept returns on speakers with burned voice coils, they may be returned, postage prepaid, for evaluation. Email tech@parts-express.com to obtain a Return Authorization (RA#.) We will return at the customer's expense or destroy/discard after 60 days.

    Characteristics of a burned voice coil:

  • Distinct burn odor.
  • Discolored/black spider around base of cone.

    DAMAGED MERCHANDISE RETURNS �

    Contact Parts Express within 5 days of receipt. Carriers will not permit claims after 5 days. We will file a Damage Inspection Claim which results in a carrier follow-up to inspect your package. Carrier requires receiver to retain all boxes, labels, and packing materials until the claim has been approved. We will proceed with a replacement shipment once the carrier notifies us of claim approval. Note: Truck freight shipment damage must be reported directly to freight carrier
