Terk FM+ Passive FM Antenna
Terk FM+ Passive FM Antenna is rated 3.9565 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from UNIT BEST VALUE !!!This is the 3rd. unit that I have in service. 2 units are below ground level in the basement and rec room. Easy to install, it works much better than the standard FM wire antenna. Stations come in clear and stereo sounds great. Of course I live in Metro Wash DC area, lots of stations to choose from. Excellent value for the price. Get one !!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from reinstalled my 'rabbit ears'. . . . . . . .Planned on replacing an old school FM antenna(rabbit ears)on my vintage '70s stereo system with a more modern Terk antenna after some research. The few extra channels it did pull in were still too weak to enjoy and even some strong channels had more sizzle than sound. Looked much better, but that's about it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from second time around ...this is the second unit I have purchased...first one worked, and so does this one, so convenient to input ...just hope this one lasts longer than the first.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so impressed!I may have been expecting too much from this antenna, but I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. There's a great rock station almost out of reach but I can usually pick it up in my SUV. I was hoping that this antenna would pull it in to my reciever but so far it hasn't happened! I'm gona keep playing with it though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terk FM antenna # 210-205This antenna does what the ad said it would do!It pulls in my favorite station much better that the dipole, wire type antenna that came with our Bose unit.It filtered out a station that was interfereing, and cut out the hiss. I can play the station in stereo now.Couldn't before.I wish I had found this a long time ago.I certainly recommend it.

Terk FM+ Passive FM Antenna

Looking at: Terk FM+ Passive FM Antenna. Looks close to what I need. But, how is it connected to the receiver? What comes with it?

Asked by: Jeff1129
This has one lead for AM which is a two conductor bare wire connection, as well as a coax connection for FM which is terminated with an F connector.

I have a bookshelf stereo system and on the back of the head unit the FM antenna input looks kind of like a male rca. Will this antenna connect to the head unit without purchasing any adaptors of any sort?

Asked by: kirkules
This does have standard FM antenna type connectors which includes a slide-on F-type.
