This driver actually looks good in a sealed or ported design. Depending on where you want it tuned and how much power you want to put on it, you have some flexibility.
I did a box tuned at 35hz and one tuned at 40hz for reference.
If you did 1.5 cu ft with 2 3" ports 13.37" long you are looking at a tuning freq of 40hz and an f3 of 34hz. It drops off pretty quick below tuning in either design.
If you do 2 cu ft with 2 3" ports 13" long your tuning would go down to 35hz with an f3 of 30hz.
Given the choice, I would build the larger enclosure. I wouldn't bother with a large sealed box really. The curve is smooth, but it does need a lot more power to get the driver moving.
