Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's okReplaced a horrible zmodo with this. It's better than that but not a lot. Color is better by far but I'm not impressed by resolution. Still worth the money though. Just don't expect too much

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Think About ItThink about it and then buy... and buy... and buy. As a conventional security cam using NTSC video over coax, this camera is the best one that I have. The wide-angle lens is excellent for large area coverage as a creep-cam. You are not looking for facial ID with a wide angle lens, you are looking to cover a wide area of activity. I will continue to order this camera until we are ready to upgrade to the HD. Even after the upgrade, these cameras will continue to provide wide angle coverage while the HD is used for tag and face recognition. There are no adverse effects from fluorescent lights such as I have found with other security cameras. This is definitely a 700 line camera with xtal clear video. Do not cheap-out on the cabling; order the proper cabling. I hate to say it but I do not understand how this camera is offered at this price.

When I hook these up using the Siamese cable, do I terminate the wire with RG56 on one side for video? And, what do I use for the power side?

Asked by: CC864
This camera accepts a standard BNC type male connector for video and requires a 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC power plug for power. You can use one of the adapters below for power, and any standard male BNC crimp connector for the appropriate wire size you have.

what is the differance between a 3.6 mm lense and a 6mm lense

Asked by: Tony Sul
A 3.6mm lens will have a wider angle, the 6mm will have a longer reach for viewing things farther away.

I have a Bunker hill system model #61229 is this camera conpatable and does it detect motion. also is the clarity better than the ones that come with the system

Asked by: Tony Sul
Unfortunately I cannot compare this camera to the system you have. The software is what detects motion, not the camera. As long as the existing system uses BNC or RCA connections this camera should work fine with it.
