This cool and unique amplifier package features two low distortion Class AB amplifier kits that are built around the versatile ST Microelectronics TDA2822M. Each of the two amplifier kits can be configured for either stereo power output or bridged-mono power output (schematics for proper board configuration can be found in the Users Manual). Great for electronics classes, trade schools, or as a project for hobbyists. Makes a really unique gift that almost anyone that uses headphones or computer speakers can use with some additional parts.
Each amplifier can be used to power computer desktop speakers, car and home audio tweeters, motorcycle and bicycle speakers, headphones... and can even be used as a fixed-gain, line-level preamplifier. The multi-layer printed circuit board features a through-hole design that hides the circuit traces from accidental shorting. ST Microelectronics' TDA2822M is built to accept a wide array of power inputs (as low as 2 VDC) and can operate on as little as two AA batteries up to a 9V battery for the ultimate portable amplification solution.
