Sure Electronics ME-TM42123 Blue LED Temperature Display Dual External Sensors

These temperature displays offer the ability of measuring two different environments at the same time in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F), making it perfect for monitoring the temperature of your equipment closet, computer case, amplifier, fish tank or for comparing two devices under test.

Three 7-segment bright blue LEDs offer great visibility and a wide viewing angle. Additionally, this display features auto-brightness for reduced power consumption in darker settings and offers the ability to change the display from Celsius to Fahrenheit with a wave of a hand. The small display housing footprint opens up application possibilities and since it can run on 12 VDC (8.5 to 26 VDC working voltage), this display is right at home in your car or truck.

Included with this display are two waterproof NTC thermal probes on 119" long cables that offer durability and precision. Cables are UL and CE-certified for low voltage drop. 8" power cable included.

Sure Electronics ME-TM42123 Blue LED Temperature Display Dual External Sensors
Sure Electronics ME-TM42123 Blue LED Temperature Display Dual External Sensors is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice, but....Received 10 pcs today. On all 10 the power cable was wired backwards -- red on ground, black positive. Fortunately (and contrary to the manual) hooking it up with red on +, black on -, did not let out the magic smoke. The back cover pops off easily and the mating jack is clearly marked V+ and GND. Check your cables first. It's easy to swap the cables in the plug -- a very small screwdriver in the "window" where you can see the metal terminal and you can slide it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great UnitPerfect unit to monitor two temps at a time. Can be set to alternate between CH1 & 2 automatically through the use of four dip switches. NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED but I found that setting the dips to UP,DOWN,DOWN,UP will alternate between CH1 & CH2 in degrees Fahrenheit. Very bright and CLEAR display.

Where are the instructions?

Works with a 'wave of the hand'? How? It does tell the temp. with one lead hooked up, with two, seems to do nothing. have I missed something?
Asked by: Snapshotmusic
If you look to the right on the product page under the price-box, there it is!There are some interesting things: these utilize an NTC temp-probe [Google], more accurate than the old RTD, and more range. Under the cover there is a DIP-switch for user selectable functions, C/F and channel assignment. And if you toggle the auto-dim function by waving your hand, you can also "talk to it!" I got a bunch of these, they're so cool.
