Speaker Surround Re-Foam Repair Kit For 6-1/2" Speaker
I have a Harman/kardon 6.5" dual subs from the rear tailgate of a land rover discovery 2, the AMR5511 part #. The foam rings are dry rotted, since your disclosure says its not intended to be used for subwoofers, what do you offer for the subs in 6.5"?
The foam kits we offer are not intended for high excursion drivers with tall or wide surrounds. These will fit and work with any 6-1/2" driver that has a standard half roll surround and a cone that measures 4-3/4" in diameter.

I recently ordered and received Part # 260-915, a 6 1/2" foam kit that seems to fit my Advent speakers' woofers perfectly. Do you HAVE to replace the dust caps when replacing the foam if the caps are still in great shape? Worried I did it wrong.
The main reason to remove the dust cap it is is the only reliable way to align the voice coil in the gap. The dustcap needs to be removed to allow you to shim the coil. Not doing this step risks having a rubbing coil when the glue sets up.

I need one foam replacement for a 6" inch boston Acoustic speaker gateway 2000.Which one should I order
Unfortunately we do not have a cross reference available for this type of thing. The only kit we have available is for a 6-1/2" speaker which is designed to fit a 4-3/4" diameter cone. If your cone measures 4-3/4", this kit will fit.http://www.parts-express.com/speaker-surround-re-foam-repair-kit-for-6-1-2-speaker--260-915

will this kit work for a pair of Cerwin Vega 6 1/2" speakers out of a center channel speaker model E76C?
Unfortunately we do not have a specific list of speakers this kit will fit on. If your woofer has a frame diameter of 6-1/2" and a cone diameter of 4-3/4" this kit will work.

I find the replacement surround (with the angled edge) fits the speaker frame and cone just perfectly. But the cardboard gasket that sits on the surround foam is too small a diameter. It squeezes the 'bump' on the surround. Should I make a replacement?
The gasket serves no purpose other than aesthetic so there is no reason to have one unless the driver was rear mounted.
