Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Speaker GlueI have used this speaker repair glue in the past. I'm very pleased at how it works. I just purchased this bottle to keep on hand for future repairs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from speaker glueWork good..goes on white but dries clear..do both sides of speakers..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just About RightThis product appears to be similar to Sobo or Aleene's Tacky Glue which are craft glues for use with paper and fabric. It seems just about right for the purpose of attaching a new speaker cone. I'm happy with it except you'll get more for the money if you buy a bottle of craft glue... but then how much do you really need?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PerfectMy home theater Subwoffer blew the surround off of about 1/2 of the speaker - it was still very pliable but in that condition make a horrible sound.I used this glue to re-attach the parts that had dis-connected and let dry for 24 hours - and now the speaker sounds as good as new much better than a new sub and a quicker fix than I anticipated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it works! This looks and feels like elmers but is much more flexible. I used this to fix speaker surrounds which had seperated from the cone. Although it does not seem that strong I have put in probably 20 hours of listening time since the repair at both high and low volumes and the spearkers work perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's glueThis stuff is a little more pliable than elmer's glue, but it isn't much stronger. It dries very clear too. I wouldn't use it on surround repairs, but you could probably get away with using it on a dust cap.

Speaker Repair Glue 1 oz. Bottle

What is the shelf life of this product?

I purchased 6 bottles of this product about 10 years ago, and it has been refigerated ever since. Is it still good?
Asked by: jswe1422
Unfortunately we do not have any information regarding the shelf life of this product for that period of time. The best thing to do is to let a bottle reach room tempurature and try it. If it has the same viscosity I see no reason for it not to work. I would recommend testing it on sheets of paper before applying it to a speaker surround.

Is this a water based plasticiser that is spread over the cloth after a recone?

Asked by: johnyc
This is a similar product, and can be used to "dope" a cloth surround after reconing, yes.

how long this glue will be usable, and how and where to keep it when it is not used.

Asked by: boggy
The white glue has a very long shelf life as long as it is sealed up properly in its container, it should last many years.
