Speaker Grill Cloth White Yard 70" Wide is rated 4.3333 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ProductReading other reviews, I was concerned how thick the fabric would be. I was pleasantly surprise to find the thickness and coverage to be just fine. I used the fabric (in white) to make covers for large PA speakers and subwoofers for those events that will require a more elegant look (or, as in my first usage of the covers, a DJ'd party where I wanted a certain lighting effect casting colored lights on the speaker towers). I probably will purchase some more fabric in black for a nicer look as the cabinets have been beaten up pretty badly over the years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved the product!Bought this weeks ago and the fabric worked greatTo cover the grills of our recessed speakers in our church. The fabric was expandable and went on very easily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice cloth finish but too sheerMy cabinet is white, so the white from it shows through the cloth as does the black speaker grill frame kit. Make sure you buy enough of the cloth to double layer it. If you only use one layer the cloth ends up looking light gray and you can easily see through it.The cloth's color is not a perfect match (its a cooler white) to the besta white but it blends in pretty well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EDF iiiExcellent company. No hassles. Quick shipping. The experience with the company was fantastic. I cannot say the same about this survey. What do you mean the text is "too short?"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Cloth-Nice QualityI bought this cloth to create a grill for the hole in my ceiling--the opening of my infinite baffle (IB) home theater sub system. Cloth is good quality, pulls tight with no wrinkles. The cloth is transparent though. Even after I doubled the cloth over twice, you could see the wood frame I built. I did paint the frame so that it was less noticeable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 Star Item=PI'll start with the cons first. Absolutely nothing to gripe about here.Pro.Best price on the web for this type of product bar none. This is thin and almost optically transparent just as it is supposed to be. It is advertised as being what it is. There are tons of different coverings and grill cloths, folks please know what you want and then research it.I've used this cloth on 8 different projects and in brown, black, gray and now white. I've been pleased with all of them. 3 other projects I used tweed when I wanted to hide the speaker/s and sonic transparency wasn't that much of a factor (Sub Woofer)! If you need thicker grill cloth, please buy something else? For those of us who want absolutely no muffling and demand sonic transparency, this is the best thing out there. Make it thick by doubling it and you loose that claim to fame (Still performs very well doubled BTW). Next time some of you folks should try tweed? I say that to be helpful, not mean.

Since the fabric is poly I assume it cannot be dyed (to change color), correct?

That is correct. This does not take dye well.

Does it only come in white?  If so can it be painted ?

Asked by: Kjoy
Yes, it comes in white, but I would not recommend painting it as it would not be acoustically transparent.
