Speaker Connecting Tube is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from cutting them downI'm the guy that noted they are longer than spec-ed. I was going to return them, but as mentioned by someone else, its not a big deal to cut them down. i only needed about a 28"-30" extra height onto my sub box (so even even 31 was a little more than optimal). But instead of shipping them back and buying some simple 24" tubes (which are only a few dollars cheaper), i took these apart and will hack down the internal piece and use just that. If i ever need more height I can reassemble them. So I am raising my Value rating to a 5. i still haven't quite figured out the wobble issue 100% yet; it just looks silly when 1 speakers leans one way while the second goes another. Wrapping the tips with tape helps a lot, though making it really tight will destroy the tape after a bit of the old in/out. Performance : 4

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Using them with JRX100 SeriesI bought these to use with my JRX100 series tops and bottoms. As noted by other reviewers, they are a little longer fully collapsed than what is in the specifications. I was hoping to use them in my practice studio to save some space but because of the length, they are just too long. They will be fine for live applications for mounting the JRX115's on top of the JRX118's with the exception that the pole is just slightly narrower on the bottom so there is a bit of a wobble but I think it is tolerable as long as some drunk doesn't sit on your subs during a gig. These have plastic knobs similar to the On Stage stands knobs and the locking pin is solid steel and very sturdy. Overall, they are OK for my application. I am happy with them for the price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from seems well made but check the specs...First of all the minimum collapsed is NOT 31".It is 45" (total length), with a minimum speaker height of 36".On the bottom, the bayonet is too deep to mate with the dayton tophat umber=245-012So the outer rim sits about 3/4 " above the plate. the bayonet is also too narrow, so it wobbles a lot, so you'll have to deal with that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ULTRA ECONOMY--CAN' BEAT THEM!!We used these poles for a bizarre home audio install. Extra tall & adjustable however, they can be cut down to dial-in the height & still retain adjustability. All speaker poles have a loose fit into the mounting cup, so machining a nylon sleeve to fit over the mating end of the pole. This creates a tighter fit & perfect vertical alignment.Super quality speaker pole! Can't beat the price-buy them from the nicest people at Parts Express!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for the Price! This is truly a very nice way to get your speakers above the heads of your crowd. I use them for a lot of outside applications where getting sound abroad is crucial (parade announcing and such). The only thing that you should know is that it takes 1 3/8" top hats on both the sub and the speaker to fit properly. I called Parts Express and the tech guy had a little confusion on this so he rec. the 1 1/2" for the bottom and 1 3/8" for the top. Parts Express did a great job to get this corrected for me. SO REMEMBER... 1 3/8" for top of pole and bottom! Love this product!
