Speaker Cabinet Port Tube 4" ID x 4" L Flared
Speaker Cabinet Port Tube 4" ID x 4" L Flared is rated 4.3571 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good productAs stated in an earlier comment this fits 4 inch drainage(sewer, thin walled, SDR35) pipe which isn't your normal or more commonly available pvc(schedule 40). Couldn't find it at home depot but Menards and Lowe's ONLY had it in 10' lengths with one belled end($12) . The port slides right into the belled end, but you need a coupler($1.19) if you want to join it to a non-belled end. If you had SDR41 pipe you may not need a coupler. Fins didn't bother me as I mounted it inside my subwoofer cabinet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nice piecewell made flared port with seating tabs and narrow lip at an excellent price . I like the material used to manufacture it as it's nicer than the similar ribbed plastic tubes. As mentioned there is extra work involved in cutting grooves for the tabs although it only took me 5 minutes to mark where the tabs go with a pencil and to cut slits with a sabre saw. Done.I cut a 4.375" cut out hole and then ran a 1/2 inch round over bit with my router to accommodate the tube flare but still had to buzz some wood off with a sanding wheel to get the tube to fit in .You probably should cut the hole 4.5" or use a 3/4" round over bit to get correct fit first time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Used as a velocity stack.Well, I bought it to function as a velocity stack for an automotive air box, and so far it's doing the job. I'd rate the performance higher but I don't know how it's going to do with severe underhood heat. We'll find out.jf

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds great but still has port noiseI cutout my holes to 5-5/16"You can greak off the little tabs if you dont like them. Dont waste your time on special cuts. Just cut your holes, break off the tabs and liquid nail the things in place. Fit was great! You may also want to round your holes off with a small router bit but should not be completely neccessary.

Speaker Cabinet Port Tube 4" ID x 4" L Flared

I bought this product for the finish port on the outside of my subwoofer enclosure. It looks great put does not fit the coupler to attach more 4" port length to it. Do I have the wrong coupler or is there a trick to extending it with more 4" port material

Asked by: Dave D
Unfortunately this port is not specifically designed to be extended and the port attachments we sell will not fit it properly.
