I have a marantz 7.1 receiver in a large open living room with 19 ft ceilings. I cant do ceiling speakers because of the height, and wife likes the look of a soundbar, but I dont want to switch to a powered unit because I have outdoor speakers. Enough pwr?

Asked by: krunkowski
Power was never mentioned, although any typical home theater receiver will work fine with this kit.

is this all powered or do you need a receiver to run them?

Asked by: Gary7777777
The subwoofer is self powered but the speaker bar will require a receiver in order for it to work properly.

Is this a wireless sub system? and what type/how many inputs

this question is for the (Dayton Audio Speaker Bar and Subwoofer Package 300-629 and 300-684)
Asked by: white
No, it is not a wireless sub. If you click on the user's manual link in the Manuals / Resources frame you'll see this sub has a high-level (i.e. speaker level) input and a line-level input.
