Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes an excellent accent light or night-lightUsed one in a lamp with tiny wicker lamp shade. Runs absolutely cool and is just right to use as a night-light. The plastic bulb case is marked "220V 3W 3000K" and would be twice as bright if used in Europe, but on US 110V mains this bulb will work for a very long time and consumes only 1.5W! The 3000K (warm-white) color temperature is just right for my application :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good deal if you need them...but not very brightThese have a nice warm color temperature, but have less light output than a standard 25W bulb so are rather dim. I'm using six of them in a chandelier so the lower output is perfect in my application but as a single light for reading etc. maybe not enough light. They seem to dim OK. Very uniform output - no hot spots visible. Also quite small so will fit into fixtures that might not hold larger bulbs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They workI am kinda glad I got these but they are a little dim and much shorter than incandescent bulbs. They won't light up a room but do work good in a lamp for reading as long as the shade don't hold on to the bulb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only 3 Watts Consumed !In my opinion: 1.This bulb would make a brighter than average night light. 2.The quality of light is more pleasant than a CFL. 3. It's cute. Shame on "W" for outlawing incandescent bulbs though. They produce the warmest and most pleasant artificial light. He should live in a smaller house and drive a smaller car !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect little bulb. Its hard to find a good minimal LED bulb. Most provide the wrong color of light..either too red-ish or too white. This one is just about perfect. They also do not get more than slightly warm.

Can these bulbs be used outdoors? I am looking for a energy efficient bulb for some of my Christmas blow molds. Thanks
