from Great features for priceI bought these on a budget for live FOH sound board phones. Decent job of blocking out the back ground so I can listen what I am monitoring. Like the swing ear cup for holding over one ear and still listening to house in the other. Very handy for checking on one channel in the mix. Single side cord, a must. Like the sound. Inexpensive enough to use in live out door environment and I don't cringe when a volunteer picks them up. Had one of the ear cups pivots break after some rough handling( 12 months in a soft duffel). But was able to take apart and repair.

from Super snug fitI recommend this product for someone with a small hat size only. With the ear cups as small as they are on this model HD 205 and the pressure with which they press on the ears I was always uncomfortable wearing them. It could only be called painful, when I wore glasses because of the pressure of the ear cup against the ear pressed against the bows under them with such force it just hurt. If the ear cups were large enough to surround the ear they would have been serviceable. As it was I had to return them. Also note: with the rotatable ear cup on this model it makes them feel unstable, it is like they are always twisting in order to achieve equilibrium, even when both ears are in the normal down position. My most recent experience with Sennheiser headset/headphones are with the HD 485 and HMD 250 both of which were quite comfortable with great sound reproduction.
