Screw Cap AGC Fuseholder Black
Screw Cap AGC Fuseholder Black is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little fuse holder; best with squared holeThis is a great little fuse holder for any DIY project; I've used it on various lighting power boxes and it works well. As per the parts express folks, the dimensions of the threaded part of the holder are: .588" across threads; .466" across flats, if you end up needing to design a hole for 3d printing or laser cutting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Threaded -vs- EarsIf you have the old type of fuse holders where the retention mechanism is a couple of "ears" that go through their respective slots on the caps and twist into place, replace them with these threaded ones. That old mechanism is pointlessly convoluted and therefore, more prone to failure. At a buck and a quarter, the only pain will be the taking the speaker apart to do the install. As usual, the Parts Express shipping and service were prompt and professional. Unfortunately, they've set a precedent that will have their customers whining like kids at Christmas if an order gets delayed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed! The fuse holder was exactly what I needed. In fact, I was just buying it for the screw cap, but during installation my old fuse holder broke, so I was very happy that I had purchased the entire fuse holder and cap. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This fuse holder is an excellent valueI've used this fuse holder in most of my amp builds. It's a sturdy product and the price is unbelievable compared to what you'll find on dedicated "amp builder" supply sites. It fits nicely in a 5/8" round hole but in that circumstance you aren't taking advantage of the "flats" that are built into the threaded area. I drill a 1/2" hole and then grind out the top and bottom of the hole a bit with a Dremel.I recently bought a dozen fuse holders on eBay for a little less cost, but they turned out to be flimsy JUNK.

Screw Cap AGC Fuseholder Black

Would this be OK for higher voltages?  I'd like to use this to fuse a 250Vac B+ supply that would run at 125mA idle current, but with an initial surge.  Would use a 3A slo-blo fuse.

Asked by: thorpej
Even though your current is low, we would not recommend it for a higher voltage than the holder is rated for.
