Sanus LC1A LCD/Plasma 37"-70" Black Ceiling Mount w/Adapters
70" tv or not? The title says 37 - 70 but the spec say 30-55. If I stay under the stated 130lb I should be ok?
Maybe and maybe not. The issue is primarily weight, but so is torque. A 70" set pushed sideways can present significant twist to the hardware. You also want to be sure the mount can accommodate the horizontal physical distance between mounting points on your particular set. Some sets may not be VESA-compliant, for example, and may have unique mounting arrangements. Most importantly, however, be really, really, REALLY sure that the structure to which you attach the mount can accommodate the load. Most horizontal surfaces, like ceilings, cannot. In most cases, you can, at best, attach to a single joist, and lagging into one joist is completely inadequte. Bear in mind that you can only locate two bolts (not the intended four) into a joist that is only an inch and a half wide, and that you must somehow prefectly center them into the wood, which is concealed behind drywall. Also, you are placing this entire load on one joist, which more than likely was never sized for this use anyhow. You should consider using sister joists (of adequate length) or blocking intended for this application. Please do NOT short cut this critical issue.

Hi, Is is capable of being mounted to a vaulted ceiling or is an adapter needed?
This product is designed to be mounted to a flat horizontal surface. For a vaulted ceiling, I would suggest building some manner of angled spacer, providing a level surface to which you could affix this mount.

Hi can this be instaled without running cables through the ceiling?
Yes, you can tie the cables to the pipe instead of running them through it.
