Safety Cable 29" Length 700 lb. Load Capacity
How is your 700# load rating determined? Do you have a certificate? I am going to use these to hang a video screen and the inspector needs to see the load rating certificate.
I need a safety cable with clip that is around 20 to 36 inches long but the clip MUST be at least 1.5 inches wide. the 29" safety cable might work but need to know how wide the clip is at largest part.
The clip on this cable is just under 1" wide at the widest part measured on the inside.

Do you have this safety cable in a smaller length? Would like 16" or so. THANKS
The shortest cable we offer is 24":http://www.parts-express.com/american-dj-s-cable-60-24-steel-safety-cable-60-lb-rating--244-4220

Can these be used to fly speakers?
At a safety rating of 700LBS each and a typical speaker on the fly would use four cables, my logic is:4x700=2,800LBS
I would agree, as long as the load is evenly distributed across the four cables. Just try to keep the speaker weight below 2800 lbs and you should be fine!
