S-Video Audio and Composite Video Selector Switch 5-In 2-Out
S-Video Audio and Composite Video Selector Switch 5-In 2-Out is rated 4.2727 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Passive, does its thing.I needed this for connecting multiple sources to the in-law's television, which itself has only one AV input. This switch is passive, and connects composite video and stereo audio with no fuss and provides pushbutton simplicity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easily organizes composite cablesIn 2 minutes I had 3 game systems and my DVD player connected, never have to switch cables again. Added bonus - it does not have to be plugged in.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from video selectorThe purchase of your #180-938 video selector was one of my better choices regarding the equipment I have bought. With the multiple systems I need to run this made it very easy to operate switching from one component to another.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not exactly what I neededI just needed to run one output to two inputs. I am not even using any of the switching options, but I guess it would be nice to have if I ever need to hook something up real quick to both TVs. Whichever input is selected shows up on both TVs at the same time. Just what I was expecting. It was just a little overkill for what I am using it for. Also, it feels a bit cheap, like I could almost break it in half. Only thing I could find cheap enough.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The product features needs to be clearerI purchased this A/V selector with the hope to do what it says on the product box "easily expand your home theater system with 5A/V S-Video inputs". I want one box to share my DVD and my son's three game systems. I also occasionally attach my laptop to watch NetFlix on the TV. I was thrilled when I found this product! While there is a note included with the product description, it needs to spell out a limitation clearer. The note reads "Note: Unit does not upconvert to S-video. Signal in is signal out."It was not until I read the one page instructions that come with the unit that I realized the limitation. You cannot mix S-Video and conventional connections (L,R and Video). If you use S-Video out (like my DVD uses), then all your inputs video inputs must be S-Video. But all my son's game systems use RCA jacks (L,R, & Video).I was able to workaround the limitation by running the second output from this product to my VCR using RCA jacks. So now I have to have my VCR on when my son plays a game, and also switch the input signal on my TV.It is still a good product, and I really like the 5 inputs. I just wish I knew the limitation before I purchased it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full featured selector switchI needed a selector switch with 2 ouputs and this one filled the bill. I like the extra front input for trying out new components on the fly. Does a good job.
