from Great little mixer!I used two of these to interface 2 conference mics with audio inputs on a DVR. The gain is awesome for such a small preamp in this price range and it had phantom power, it also works great! I will use and recommend these from now on!

from Nice compact unitXLR input a little noisy (won't be using it anyway) but the convenience of being able to input up to (4) four audio sources without having to change input selection is great for our teachers. The stereo jack input on channel 2 was a great plus for computer audio! We are using this coupled with a stereo receiver in place of a $1500 TOA rack-mounted system. So far, so good.

from Bad supportThe two I purchased were put into an existing classroom setting. The result was a hissing from the speakers. I emailed Rolls and they said it was coming from other sources having too much gain. I unplugged all sources and turned the amp almost completely down and still the hiss remained. They offered me no help after that.....

from Nice little mixerIt works well for what it is. I don't use the microphone input but the line inputs are quiet, sound great, and provide (I think) up to 6db of gain. There are 3 RCA jack line inputs each with its own level control. But there's also a 4th 3.5mm computer-style input that can also be used simultaneously but it shares a level control with one of the RCA inputs. So if you have a 4th source you need to mix in where you can share a level control, it's really a 4 input plus mic mixer. For those guys into mods, Rolls provides the schematic (you can download the manual online) and it's all through-hole (not surface mount) so it would be easy to modify if you wanted to upgrade the op-amp, change the gain, improve the power supply, etc. But it works better than I expected right out of the box.
