The Suggested Box Sizes are based on an optimum balance of output, bass
extension, and smallest effective enclosure volume. Most speakers can provide
excellent performance in applications that vary as much as 30% from the stated
example. The smaller available box volume will increase power handling and
reduce bass. A larger volume increases bass but lowers power handling.
