Listed in the chart below are some of the features and specifications you may want to review and compare when determining which model amplifier(s) may suit your next system. Power output is a key factor in the decision making process. Manufacturers typically use different standards when rating a car audio amp's output power. Using the RMS (continuous output power) values for comparison purposes is recommended. All models listed below include RCA line-level inputs, but if you're looking for a quick and easy solution to adding amplifi cation to any car stereo, specifically factory head units, look for a model that includes hi-level inputs as well (denoted by the 'x'). A built-in electronic crossover allows full-range and subwoofer amps alike to be easily integrated into nearly any factory or aftermarket system. An amplifier with a low-pass (LP) crossover is a must for subwoofer-only applications. Most models listed below are continuously variable allowing precise crossover point selection and ease of existing system integration. Bass boost is included on many models. For subwoofer applications, this gives your system that extra thump and boom by "boosting" output at the lower frequencies.
