Pyramid TW18 Bullet Horn Super Tweeter Pair Aluminum
These tweeters come with a capacitor- can I use other values? One lead goes to a terminal, where does the other lead attach to?
The tweeters come with the highest value you should use, You can use a lower value instead as that will raise the crossover point. The other lead would connect to the positive speaker wire.

My confusion- are the terms driver & speaker one and the same? They seem to be used interchangeably in the descriptions and discussions.
A driver is any individual speaker component.

Hi, this is in all probability a very dumb question, but since I'm a newbie, here goes: can this tweeter be used with a 6.5 woofer without a crossover? Just what does a crossover do?
Some sort of crossover would be needed to keep low frequencies from getting into the tweeter. A high pass filter would be the minimum requirement here.

I have a 2001 suburban, it has factory tweeters in the front doors, and the D pillars in the rear, would these work in the truck? If so, would I just wire them to the existing wires? Or is there a better option?
These will for in a car application. Whether they can be wired direcly into the factory location is determined by the crossover point of the factory system. These tweeters are safest crossed at 3.5kHz or higher.
