Pyle PLBW154 Blue Wave 15" Woofer
Hi there just got 2 of these and would like to know what amp anyone would recomend thanks
We have plenty of options for something like this. The Boss below would be a good choice based on the power handling of the subwoofers.http://www.parts-express.com/boss-r6002-riot-1200-watt-2-channel-mosfet-car-audio-amplifier--265-3984

Am about to buy this speaker to replace the tired 15" original mounted inside a vintage 42" high organ Leslie. It has a closed back with the standard array of narrow wooden vents. Total cab volume is 15.76. Am I probably as OK as I'm going to get?
For the price it won't be bad, but you may also want to consider our IB385 Dayton woofer below. This will offer a lower Fs and about three times the Xmax, although it is about double the price.http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-ib385-8-15-infinite-baffle-subwoofer--295-455

Will these work well in a intimate Baffle design?
Yes these will work well for an infinite baffle application.

Now i got 2x 1000 watts amplifiers is it possible for me to hook 2 of these up with either one or both amps? Without blowing them of course
There is never a guarantee that you will not blow up a woofer with any amplifier, although 1000 watts is plenty for this woofer.

what is the Xmax, frequency response, an power handling when used for home use and a box to reach 20-40Hz?
Unfortunately the manufacturer does not specify Xmax or frequency range on this driver. With a high Qts of 0.7 this will really only perform well in a sealed enclosure and in a home environment probably not play much lower than 35 Hz.
