Pyle PHPW2 FM Hi-Fi Wireless Headphones
Pyle PHPW2 FM Hi-Fi Wireless Headphones is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected. For the price, these are much better than expected. Great sound. My only drawback is that there is not an external power source for the transmitter. I like to lay in bed at night and listen to TV while my wife sleeps. The only problem with these is that you have to get up to power off the transmitter otherwise it will continue to run shortining battery life. BUT it is still a great value for the price.

At present I have Sennheiser 120 (?) which have volume and tuning on the headset. Do this have any controls on the headset.. Does the transmitter have to be plugged into the TV?

Asked by: walrus4425
Yes the headset has volume and tuning functions built in. The transmitter does not have to be plugged into a source for radio use.

What kind of "output device" does my TV need to have to hook this up and have it work? Mini-phone plug, RCA output, what?

Asked by: pdlmh
The transmitter has both 3.5mm and stereo RCA inputs.

Can I use splitter off TV to run two @ same time?

To be able to have two headphone users for the same program, could I just run a Y splitter from TV to hook up two of these transmitters/headphones simultaneously?
Asked by: BruceRox
Yes, that should work fine. The transmitter for these headphones most definitely has a high impedance input, so loading the TV's audio output with two of these transmitters in parallel should be no issue for the TV's audio output (because the load impedance would still be high enough). Note however that if you were to attach two regular headphones to a TV's output via a y-cable, the headphones' low impedance would give the TV's audio output a significant load, and could be an issue, depending on the TV.
