Pyle PDS442 1" Titanium Horn Driver 1-3/8"-18 TPI
Is the pxb2 500 good for this unit? Or did I buy the wrong thing. If so can I make it to work?
A 500 Hz crossover will be too low for this driver. I would recommend the 2,500 Hz option at minimum:http://www.parts-express.com/eminence-pxb2-2k5cx-2-way-speaker-crossover-board-2500-hz--290-635

Does this unit need a resistor?
This will need a crossover to protect it from the low end and an L pad may also be necessary to match it to the other drivers in the system. A single resistor will not work well in that application though.

I'm waiting for these to come back in stock to replace the horns in my JBL JRX115 speakers. The pictures do not appear to indicate which side is positive and which is negative. Is there any indication on the horn and if not which side is + & - ?
The positive terminal on this has a bit of red paint on it. When looking at the driver as pictured it is the left hand terminal.

are these good replacement tweeters for my nady power pro pts 1015 500 w peak speakers?
Unfortunately I do not have any information about the Nady speakers to give you a straight answer. As long as the crossover is 2,500 Hz or higher and they use a 1-3/8" threaded mount these will work fine as replacements.

What is the recommended crossover frequency for this driver?
I would recommend no less than 3.5kHz at 18dB/octave.

Would this be a suitable tweeter replacement for a Peavey PV12m monitor?
I've got a pair of PV12m that need new horn drivers. I'd like to replace them with something a little better in quality and power handling than the factory ones. I had a Selenium D220Ti on hand I tried swapping on but it's far too sensitive compared to the woofer. I looked up the factory 14T driver and the sensitivity rating is 105db, the same as this one.Would this be a suitable replacement? Is there another driver you would recommend? Thanks
This would be a suitable replacement for the Peavey monitor.
