Pyle PDBT28 Titanium Tweeter
Pyle PDBT28 Titanium Tweeter is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good driver. Not a bad driver, especially for the price. Only thing I have noticed is they are a little aggressive and need to be toned down to match most other drivers. The 104 dB SPL rating is quite accurate. For the price, they finished off my custom speakers quite nicely. Plus they are rather attractive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crystal ClearThis product is the best sounding tweeter I've ever heard play.It reproduce the very top frequencies of the midrange spectrum and all of the tweeter high frequency with clarity.I was playing this tweeter along with my midrange speakers when someone stopped and listen and thought that I was playing a real drum set. With the right amount of control in the high frequency preferably minus 3db this tweeter reproduce sounds as real as any instruments that plays high frequencies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from works well...when it worksBased on looks, description, and price I purchased five pairs of these tweeters. I have used them with the supplied capacitors and have also used them with better crossover networks (above the rated crossover point).Three tweeters often cut out intermittently and overload on certain frequencies (hammond organ sounds). They are also difficult to mount because the rear magnet structure is almost as large as the front frame leaving very little room for error when cutting the mounting hole. But WHEN they work.. they sound crisp.

Pyle PDBT28 Titanium Tweeter

I have a Peavey Bass Cabinet that I want to use as a keyboard speaker. I'm driving it with a Mackie power amp.I need to add high frequencies. Would adding this to the cabinet be adequate? How would I crossover at 2,000 hz to keep from blowing the tweeter?
