PRV Audio 18SW3000 18" High Power Pro Audio Subwoofer 8 Ohm
what is the difference of speaker that have 5" coil than 4" voice coil? is 5" coil is more powerfull than 4" coil..please i need the correct answer..thanks..
A larger coil will have better thermal dissipation properties than a smaller coil, which generally leads to higher power handling and lower power compression under heavy loads. A larger coil will generally have a higher inductance (not shown for this woofer), but when used as a subwoofer this will not matter as much.

can i used this in folded horn box..thanks...
Thank you for your interest in the 18SW3000. The EBP of this driver (what has been used to determine horn suitability for years) is roughly 125. Typically speaker designers look for a driver with an EBP of over 130, but I would consider this driver to be well suited for use in a horn loaded enclosure.

is this speaker guaranted to play non stop 8hrs with a continues 1500 watt with no problem.what is the best power amp and wattage to be match on this woofer? do you have a 4ohm speaker in this model?
This will only handle rated power in the proper enclosure and with adequate high pass filters applied. I would recommend 5 cubic feet tuned to 43 Hz, with a high pass filter at 40 Hz.
