When I first built this design, it ended up being the "MP-3" currently in the PE project showcase. The design flaws in that project became apparent as I gained experience building more speakers, so I decided to start over while still using the same driver configuration. My main goal was to try things with my woodworking skills I hadn't before, and end up with a final project that would outperform its predecessor-and many other speakers well beyond its price range.
