If you were into audio before the dawn of home theaters in a box, compact mini-systems, and iPods, you are probably wondering what happened to the large, floorstanding speakers of yesterday. Remember the classic Cerwin Vega, Pioneer, Technics, or other speakers that used big 15" woofers and had sensitivities over 90 dB? I'm not sure what people are using for parties these days, but an iPod dock with 3" speakers doesn't rock the house in my book.
