 At long last, some information on The Colossi as featured on the cover of the
2006 Parts Express catalog! The size of these speakers is no optical illusion-
- they measure over six feet tall and weigh over 200 lbs. each! But I can't take
all of the credit for the design; much of the overall guidance came from the
Parts Express' Advertising Department and Graphic Designers. They wanted a
speaker that was unique, modern, and most importantly, physically impressive.
Knowing I only had about two weeks to design and build the speakers, I was a
bit daunted by the task at first, but knew that I could pull it off.
