If you've seen the pictures of this project, then you can probably already tell what my number one priority was: great looks! I wanted to take a real, everyday audio/video situation, and explore ways to use the speakers to make the whole system "pop". In this particular design, the speakers don't take a visual back seat to the rest of the room décor; they themselves are the main focal point of the room. In my mind, the "invisible speaker" concept is merely a paradigm that resulted from the existence of boxy, ugly speakers, and the whole idea could use some shaking up!
