Project Box 5-1/4" x 3-1/4" x 1-9/16"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gain box turned a 2 channel amp into a 3 channel ampThis was incredibly helpful.I've had a 1st Gen Peavey 5150 for 15 years and its always been a 2 channel amp (Rhythm & Lead).I used this box to change that to a 3 channel amp.I put an on/off switch on the left and hook wired it to my amp control cable. I plug my guitar into the right side of the box and it goes through a volume pot with a bypass switch. I have re-tuned the gain settings in the rhythm channel to a clean sound and I play the rhythm & lead crunch sounds by switching between direct line and volume knob on the lead channel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh... it's okay. It's a rigid box with a nice metal lid, but I don't like how the finish has random splash artifacts and such from manufacturing, not as nicely finished as it is in the picture, I was expecting it to be a uniform finish for a nice project appearance, oh well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value for your money!I bought this project box with the universal PCB for a crafty electronics project and I was glad I did. Other stores will sell you their "universal" project boxes and universal PCB's that don't fit together at all, but this is a totally different story; the two components are a perfect fit! The only thing missing was four screws to mount the PCB to the inside of the box, but if you're considering this item then you should have a collection of hardware that'll work with it...You won't find a better deal for the matching components at R@di* Sh@(K!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Did the Job...A decent box, good materials, a tiny bit out of shape , but nothing that hindered performance... a good deal.

What is the third dimension? (And why wouldn't this be listed?!)

Asked by: Luteguy
For some reason none of the boxes of this type are listed with the depth dimension. I would suggest you call tech support and ask directly. Please ask them to list this for the rest of us. I've used this type box before and it is only 1 to 1.5 inches deep, if I remember correctly.
