i used this tweeter in a bookshelf speaker pair with a 6.5" goldwood woofer and it sounded great and very loud. The tweeter is just so incredibly cheap i can't believe it! it is just over a buck! it really does scream and will hurt your ears! almost no distortion even at max volume

To be honest, I don't have much of a basis for reviewing this. I'll never use them in such a way that I really test there limits. Ordinarily I would prefer something that allows for sufficient over lap around 2000Hz, but I found a woofer that had good specs so this was adequate for my purposes. I have a 15 watt Vox practice guitar amp and the sound is kind of thick so the tweeters really help to brighten it up. Would I use it for a PA system or in a studio reference monitor? Not my first choice. This is best suited for general music reproduction and seems to do that pretty well.

I use an array of (4) in a bass guitar cab with a 10ohm 10w series resistor. They do well! I can't tell just how low they go, but the sensitivity figure seems right. Mount them vertically if used in an array.

2" x 5" Wide Dispersion Piezo Horn Tweeter
I say "wow" because they are less then a buck! I used a pair of these to fix up an old set of techniques speakers for a pond-shop.
The ones I have are not 94db1W/1M but they were decent for a quick fix. They sound airy and for less then a buck are decent.
I'd buy again for a quick fix.

I bought many of these just because they were cheap.. i used them in full range without any Xover along with some 2" full range and 8" fullrange for some surround speakers and they sound great.. it doesnt take much volume to hear these . is why i wanted them for surround speakers.. i can hear sounds from the same movie that i didnt really hear before these were installed.....
