Neutrik NP2RX 1/4" Mono Plug Compact Right Angle
Neutric has redesigned their line of 1/4 inch phone, 90 degree connectors. They are now more compact and even easier to assemble, no more tiny screws on the body cap! Solder tabs are easy to get to and the strain relief remains the excellent chuck type developed long ago by Neutric. Some may note the body cover is plastic and hence un-shieleded, but in use I have NOT found this to be a problem, even in high RF locations on high impedance guitar pickups and guitar amps, arguable the worst case scenario. To use these connectors, you must be able to trim wires and solder like a pro, but you wouldn't even be looking at them if you couldn't, so 'nuff said. The cable chuck takes the strain off your co-ax wire, virtually eliminating dreaded pull-out or internal fraying that causes shorts and open circuits that are commonplace with conventional connector designs.

Neutrik NP2C 1/4" Mono Plug Nickel
I would highly recommend these 1/4 plugs for those who like to 'roll their own' cables. They are durable enough to solder without worry. They fit is great. They look good too. Grab some quality mic cable from partsexpress and make your own interconnects, whatever size u need. You get a great end product and save alot of money too

Neutrik NP3RX 1/4" Stereo Plug Compact Right Angle
This plug is used to convert the 1/8" plug on headphones in a middle school piano class. I have tried 4 other brands and this plug works the best
Neutrik NP3C 1/4" Stereo Plug Nickel
I gave it a 4.5 cause theres always room for improvement. If you are gonna make your own cables don't skimp on quality - use these. Some of the Daytons (& I'm sure others) are very close but you are sure to a good product with Neutrik.

1/4" Mono Phone Plug Metal
Not a bad phono plug for microphone cable. Works great for PA patch cord and small speaker cables.
Dayton QSPN 1/4" Stereo Phone Plug Nickel
The best feature of this TRS phone plug is the cable clamp. It is of adequate size to accept Belden 8412 for example. The solder terminals are OK and over all qulaity sufficient.
Rean NYS224 1/4" Mono Phone Plug
The plugs are every bit as good as Switchcraft at 1/2 the cost. You can't go wrong.
Rean NYS225 1/4" Mono Plug Nickel For Speaker Cable
This 1/4" connector is an excellent product, like most Neutrik products. It won't let you down.

1/4" Stereo Phone Plug Metal
The Red from one wire and the Blue from the other wire each go to the short prongs inside, red on the longer. the other part of each wire goes to the common ground, the long prong.

Dayton QMBF 1/4" Mono Big Fatty Phone Plug
This is a well made 1/4" phono plug, I only wish that the Solder Tab for the tip could accept a 12 Guage Wire. Another Great Dayton Professional Product.

G&H MF2P Megafoot Plug 1/4" Mono
If you have 10 geage wire you need this plug.
G&H RF2P Rightfoot Plug 1/4" Mono
I got tired of using cheap cables with crappy ends, so I ordered a bunch of these and made my own with a spool of proco 120sx cable. These ends are very high quality, and plug in very solid compared to most others, which usually feel a bit mushy. These are solder only, so if you don't know how to solder, it will be a good time to learn
G&H BF3P Bigfoot Plug 1/4" Stereo
G&H appears to have a good quality TRS plug with and excellent cable clamp able to accept larger diameter sheilded cables (Belden 8412). The Solder terminals are good and over all construction is good also.
Dayton QMPN 1/4" Mono Phone Plug Nickel
Sturdy Features make this Phone Plug a super deal and easy to secure to the lead wires. The Ground sheath has a tab for securing the Shield wire for a Tug Resistant connection.
Neutrik NP3X-B Plug 1/4" Stereo Black/Gold
A very sturdy, well-designed plug. Great for heavy professional use. The cable restraining design allows the plug and its associated cable to tolerate physical strain and abuse in the professional environment for years while providing a reliable connection.
Gold 1/4" Mono Phone Plug Red
Tiny solder tabs and the connector is hollow and bends easily
Rean NYS225B 1/4" Mono Plug Black For Speaker Cable
Quality is good however I would like some type of integral strain releif.
Please Neutrik- stop sending items to be manufactured in China, I am willing to pay more for American or European made products.

Rean NYS224G 1/4" Mono Phone Plug 9.5mm Outlet Gold Plug
I like this plug for cable up to 13GA. It mates perfectly with Dayton 13Ga or smaller wire. I like the gold ends and it has nice soldering points.

G&H BF2P Bigfoot Plug 1/4" Mono
Simply....They work good. As good as Switchcraft, and I'm a die-hard switchcraft fan. You should try 'em, they're not that expensive, and you'll be impressed...Everything I've tried G&H has been good quality, good price.....They should pay me for this glowing review....but they're not....GAC.

1/4" Stereo Phone Plug
There is no doubt that these are really cheap TRS plugs. If these are to be used daily... forget it. I use them for connections that "hardly" ever get pulled in an out. These plugs are so cheap that they will not stand up to daily use. The solder connections are really crappy as well. But, like I said, for making connections that don't require constant plugging and unplugging, and with careful soldering skills, they will work just fine. For everday use go with Neutrik connectors.

Gold 1/4" Mono Phone Plug Black
Good quality connector and that will work for all your projects

Neutrik NP2C-B 1/4" Mono Plug Black with Gold Plug
Dude...if you're playing guitar and if you want to buy a very good plug (at one end, and the NP2C-AU-Silent to the other end which it will help you a lot to plug/unplug your guitar without any pop or killing NOISE...) this is the best PLUG out there! I will NOT buy anything else but this one! Nice feel, very easy on making your own cable (if you know how to do it), and the best quality. Better than the Nickel plug...!!! 5 stars from me! Very good job on doing this plug!!! To bad I can NOT buy it easier, I have to go on line to order those plugs because the store next to me is OUT of them...! I can't go back to what I've been using before...! No way...!!! This is it guys...!!! Try it and see it for yourself!

Switchcraft 226 1/4" Mono 90° Plug Nickel
The only right angle plug I've seen that looks like it will last forever, besides the original switchcraft RA plug from decades ago. Expensive, but you only buy it once.

Switchcraft 280 1/4" Mono Plug Nickel
I recently had a buddy of mine solder a couple of these onto speaker wire, which he gave me, for which he no longer had use. Since I had two banana plugs already, I got a pair of speaker cables (maybe 30 ft to 35 ft long) for less than $5 -- I won't complain about that! The Switchcraft 280 was easy to solder onto the speaker wire and it appears very rugged/reliable, so here's hoping the two I purchased will last a long time.

Neutrik NP2X-B Plug 1/4" Mono Black/Gold
I have used these plugs (as well as the TRS/stereo version) numerous times, and . . . ever since they came out. They are basically like the N2C-B standard version which is still available, but with a more slim design, and the slim design makes for less bulk when folding or rolling up cords. I find them very easy to install. Neutrik rocks!!!

Rean NYS201 1/4" Mono Phone Plug Short Handle
Biggest complaint is, the holes in the tabs for speaker wires, if used for this application, are just stupidly too small to run a normal speaker wire! OK for thinner signal cable wires.
Rean NYS202 1/4" Stereo Phone Plug Short Handle
This is a plane-Jane plug. Usually Neutrik means it has a good strain relief. Not here. This a short (by design) standard plug with a crimp style strain relief inside like all the other buck and half plugs have. If you need a cheap, short plug, it's fine. Just don't expect a good strain relief to come with the Neutrik name any more. Quality seems to be good. You get what you pay for.
Neutrik NP3C-BAG 1/4" Stereo Plug Black
Yuo have to be a soldering contortionist to nail these connections. Stick with G&H far superior. I can do 4 G&H plugs in the time I do 1 Neutrik.
Switchcraft 297 1/4" Stereo Plug Nickel
the best connector made but pricer than other sources
Rean NYS225L 1/4" Mono Plug Nickel For Speaker Cable
Has only one solder lug for tip clamp only for ring 12 gage flat speaker cable does not or barley fits , depends on insulation size .
Most likely designed for round cable where the "-"
wire is clamped in the support?
Switchcraft 188 1/4" Mono Plug Heavy Duty Nickel
We were working with older equipment that our client wanted us to reuse and all of the speaker connections were with 1/4" phone plugs. The job engineer had speced large gaugue (appropriate) speaker wiring and this was the only connector that would fit the wiring. We are very pleased.

Neutrik NP2X Plug 1/4" Mono Nickel/Silver
