Rean NYS229 1/4" Mono Jack Non-Switched
Good general use jack and similar to a Switchcraft, HOWEVER.... somebody needs to teach this Chinese maker how to drill a proper hole in the solder lugs... WAY too small for any real speaker wire.
I have to drill out the existing holes to get standard speaker wires in. :(

Rean NYS2202 1/4" Mono Jack Thick Panel
I installed 4 of these jacks in two speaker cabinets. I was very careful & gentle when soldering. All 4 are extremely intermittent, making them useless. It seeems that the positive contact doesn't hold the plug in tight enough. It slides in & out about 1/16". Inbetween the extremes it loses contact. There's no way of getting at the contacts to bend them, like I would for a standard type jack.
These seemed to be ideal for my application: great idea, but try making them so that they work!

1/4" Mono Phone Jack Chassis Mount
A little flimsy for my liking. The barrel is less than 3/8" diameter and not (old) standard thread, so the barrel wall is thinner than expected. If you try to tighten it fully, the barrel rotates in the contact plate.

Neutrik NJ3FP6C 1/4" Locking Chassis Jack Nickel
High quality, much better than cheaper plastic versions

Rean NYS221 1/4" Stereo Jack Thick Panel
I was lookning for a long Jack to go threw Drum Shells to Convert Acoustic Drums to Electronic. I needed a Jack that had no flange or a removeable flange so I could wire them up for my clients and they could drill a hole into their drum shell and install this from inside and put the flange or nut on the outside. This Jack does not have that ability but it is a great jack. I have found the jacks that I need and if you need any contact me at robisonsb@sbcglobal.net They will work with shells up to 1 inch thick.

Neutrik NMJ4HC-S 1/4" Mono Phone Jack Switched
Very strong and solid contacts, comes with spacers for a variety of panel thicknesses, threads easily, and tightens securly. Used it on a Carvin tube amp repair and the sound is greatly improved. Solder lugs flow easily.

Rean NYS230 1/4" Stereo Jack Non-Switched
This is a very durable jack, which is surprisingly malleable, and can take a little bit of bending, and re-use. It sounds good as well.

Rean NYS2122 1/4" Mono Jack Switched
What can you say. It works, it looks neat when installed and solders well. It's a jack socket!

Neutrik NJ3FP6C-BAG 1/4" Locking Chassis Jack Black
No cables roaming around in transport and provides a nice, neat, tight, and cool looking connection.

Neutrik NJ3FP6F-P 1/4" Locking Chassis Jack Plastic Housing
Sturdy, well made, typical of Neutrik "D' series line. These came in handy for me, when I used a pre-punched rack panel designed to accept XLR or "D" connectors. The holes were too large for standard 1/4" input connectors. These made a very professional rack panel which had a combination of Speakon and 1/4" inputs.

Switchcraft 11 1/4" Mono Jack with Nut & Washer
Switchcraft means dependability.

Neutrik NMJ6HC-S 1/4" Stereo Phone Jack Switched
Nice jack, but it spins about the hole. Better get a lock washer behind it.

Rean NYS212 1/4" Stereo Jack Switched
High quality and economical. My Grados really like this output. I tell ya, if you could combine German engineering and Italian design you would have a REAL winner.

1/4" Stereo In-Line Jack Plastic
The best ones I have ever used.

1/4" Mono In-Line Jack Metal
I used several of these each paired with dual bananas for a couple sets of pro-gig amp-speaker cables, and the double solder lugs for the tip allowed me to use 12 gauge stranded. Had to get it quite hot to allow the solder to flow, but as long as you don't apply too much pressure the plastic won't melt. After the second assembly it was a breeze.

Neutrik NJ3FC6 1/4" In-Line Locking Jack
I'm using these for an unusual application; headphone extension cables.
I'd bought some prefab ones and they died quickly and annoyingly.
These connectors are MUCH more heavy duty.
Plus, I love the security of the Neutrik strain relief and the ease with which you can solder onto these. All other connectors feel flimsy and antiquated once you've dealt with the Neutrik stuff...

1/4" Stereo Phone Jack Chassis Mount
Cheaply made....one of the terminals broke off easily. Bought some Switchcraft jacks to replace these -more expensive but MUCH BETTER quality.

Neutrik NMJ2HC-S 1/4" Mono Phone Jack Unswitched
Seems to be of good quality and fairly straight forwad configuration. Very shallow connector not ideal for a flush mount setup. Comes with a bunch of shims so you can mount it up.
