Installed it myself, easy to do and now I have my LCD wall mounted TV connected to my Tripplite power conditioner. Power Bridge is really a must have if you wall mount a flat screen TV.

Great connector. If I could change anything it would be the outer collar. I believe it should be a bit thicker...seems brittle as is but don't get me wrong, it would take some abuse to break/crack it.

I am a electronic tech and I worked for Bell South Telephone for many years so I know what kind of difference a simple connection can make on small amounts of electricity whether AC or DC. The experience I gained from working with -48 vdc phone lines over many many miles of 18ga. to 28ga. of solid copper wire (most used 24ga.). You let just a little of anything get in that connection or let it not be tight and guess what noise and lots of it. To most people who listen to audio, power cords and their connectors are the lest of their concerns if at all. What they don't understand is garbage in and you will get garbage out. There are 6 important connections on this plug. The inside connections use top quality connectors fitting very tight and they used very good materials and the outside posts make the fit tight between the plug and the plug-in again with the best materials. Great job!

If you are looking to build a high-end power cord and have quality wires to match it to, then this connector will do the job just fine. You won't see this kind of connector on commercial power cords costing less than $500. A good buy if you require the best.

Wattgate 15 RA Right Angle Adapter Black
Pretty disappointed with this, especially for the money. This thing should be $2 or $3 at the most. Not very friendly to larger gauge wires. Will definitely look into something else for right angle IEC needs.

Built very strong and seems of high quality. Very easy to install and wire. The electrical connection clamps are recessed under 3 holes in clear plastic and following the stripping guide yields virtually foolproof, simple, and very secure results. Only negative is that the cable clamp mechanism on the back half of the shell pushes large wire to the side when you tighten it and so the wire does not make a neat, straight entrance to the back of the unit. If you are a perfectionist like me, it's annoying seeing that the unit is not parallel to the wire, but rather hangs off the end at a slight angle, but I see no funtional difficulty with the design.

I've purchased and used several of these plugs to make my own replacement power cords using 12g power cord wire bought off the spool and cut to length at Lowes. The quality of the plug is high and compares favorably and directly to the Wattgate plug which I have also used.
