I have this hooked into my DTS home theater system to listen to my iPod. The connectors are very high quality, and added no noise to my system. I was scared that with the huge bundle of wires coming off of the back of my Sony receiver, that I would pick up some hum, but I got nothing. The iPod sounded better than I thought 128kbps MP3 (AAC technically speaking) should sound.

Of the 3 connectors I bought, 2 on the female side did not hold a male adapter very well. The connection would be loose all the time. The inside seems to have a manufacturing problem. It was not worth the postage to return them.

I have always found Dayton to be one of those companies who seems to make products which are extremely good for the meager price they are asking. This cable is no exception. The plugs fit very snugly into 3.5mm jacks with no wiggle as some less expensive connectors sometimes have. I did notice while handling the cable that the back-shell one on plug was loose by a thread or two, but I screwed it back on and was good to go! I've given the cable a 4 in "Features" as it has no strain-relief.

This is a high quality cable replacement for select AKG headphones that sounds just as good, if not better, than the stock cable. The coiled feature works, as it never tangles anymore. I just wish it was a little less pricey, but it is gold plated.

Had this nasty, really loud, really crazy 60 Hz noise from my laptop to my home receiver, (only when the laptop was plugged into AC power). Thought the whole thing was going to blow-up. really bad, like a short circuit!! THIS CABLE SOLVED ALL THE PROBLEMS. NO NOISE, NO HUM, NO NOTHING BUT PURE SOUND. This is a million dollar fix. saw other isolation units at 3X the price. This is all you need.
