Dayton DTA-1 Class T Digital Amplifier 15 WPC
Lots of hype about these little class "T" amps. After receiving mine, setting it up, and listening to it over the weekend, I say it's all well-deserved. I've been in this hobby for 40 years, and I've never heard anything like this. It took it about 3 hours to start coming in, and after that it was just wonder after wonder, CD after CD. I couldn't listen to different selections fast enough. I was astonished. $39.18? The finish and workmanship is better than anyone has a right to expect; I found NO flaws. I used it with speakers rated at 90db (CSW Model 6) and 91.5 db (Infinity Beta-50), and had no trouble achieving my normal listening levels in our large-ish living room with no audible distortion or distress. Go ahead and get one; you'll be glad you did... really.

I purchased this amplifier to power a pair of old Bose 101 Music Monitors. This amplifier has enough power for these speakers and separate bass and treble adjustment is a nice feature. I use an adapter cord to listen to tunes on my MP3 player. It works perfectly for my application.

Pyle Pro PCA1 Mini 2x15W Stereo Power Amplifier
This is a nice little amplifier for my computer speakers. It is small, has an easy to get to volume control and has more than enough power for my computer room. I'm running a pair of the Spherex speakers with a separate powered sub and it does a great job. The only downside is the RCA line in wires. It's a little strange to have a cable coming out of the back instead of jacks on the amp. Another drawback is the cable has male connectors instead of female. In my case this means I have to hook it up differently than I had it with my previous amp. A small issue for such an inexpensive amplifier.

I have found this model is perfect for my computer and my need for a device to drive a stereo set of good sized speakers, and has connectors for a sub.
I just don't like the kits used for ' computers' wanted something a lot more heavy duty. This fits nicely under my monitor, sounds awesome!
The bright LED luminescence is great with my keyboard at night.
I can switch to the radio if want to all at my finger tips. Get a good set of computer sound output jack to RCA cable and your good to go.
Great value, and just awesome.

Dayton DTA-2 Class T Digital Audio Amplifier Module
Based on Tripath's Class-T (TM) amplifier IC, this little module is easy to hook up and integrate. The instructions were pretty clear, only the orientation of the on/off/volume control ribbon cable was lacking. The red wires are for the on/off switch.
Since Tripath filed for Chapter 11 a few years ago, I wonder if Dayton Audio bought their inventory and/or their intellectual property.

have done extreme modifications to my unit,including total removal of the 14-pound power transformer,all relay-controlled switching,volume-control,etc.took me about 6 hours to map out the tube-mounting circuit board. amp is easier to work on and a better value than any of my previous 4 + direct-from-china purchases with their sky-high air-ship fees.it has some quirks like mis-matched output transformers,but makes an outstanding headphone amp that sounds much better than o-scope viewed square-wave signal feeds might indicate. have really enjoyed this amp.

Tried in our show room on several sets of speakers, produces low to moderate volume from most before clipping. Would not use on any outdoor speakers, just not enough power. Ok for BG music with effecient in-ceilings. Beware of the blue leds, they are BLINDING!

AudioSource AMP102 2 x 50 Watt Power Amplifier
The amp arrived well packaged and on time. Thanks to Parts Express for double boxing and the use of sturdy shipping materials.
The 50 watt rating strikes me as very conservative. The amp has plenty of power, handles dynamics well, and is clean. From an audiophile perspective it could be said, "The amp has a tight grip on the loudspeakers, hinting that the damping factor is higher than most. There is a brightness that is not fatiguing, but brings a level of articulation to music that is pleasing."
In my system, this unit replaced an AudioSource Amp 100 which has similar power ratings. However, the Amp 102 is much more dynamic and has more authority with the loudspeakers. I must admit that the Amp 100 is also a great value, it has a warm sound, but not the power of the 102.
I was hesitant about the red light bars on the front of the amp, but was pleasantly surprised to find a switch on the rear panel that turns the lights off. Off or on, the amp is well styled and the controls are well placed.
The "signal present" indicators remain green for about three seconds after input has stopped. While this is a bit unusual, it is not a problem. The clip indicators are instantaneous, which is the traditional design.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Amp 102 and think it is a very good value. Plenty of clean power in a well built chassis.

Pyle Pro P2001AT 2000W Amplifier with Preamp & AM/FM Tuner
Obtained this to augment a church installation. Integrated with a larger sound system. Wattage rating is deceptively high considering the actual volume output, but sound quality is not too bad. Has unacceptable limitation: When powering off and back on, previous volume setting is not retained in the unit's memory. No documentation in owner's manual specifying this "feature" before purchasing. I called the manufacturer who confirmed this limitation. Net, every time the unit is turned on, it reverts the master volume to almost 0. Too much hassle readjusting the master volume each time it is used. Parts Express is very cooperative with me returning the unit for a refund.
