Aura Pro Bass Shaker
I have purchased 4 of these for my two couches powered by an American Audio VLP-600. These are by far the best shaker for the money and they are small enough to be placed inside of your couch. I have way over powered each of them by at least 100 watts RMS and they never bottom out or distort. There are better performers out there but not near the cost of these which is why I gave them a 4.0 for performance, and don t forget you can use a much smaller amp which also saves money. I highly recommend these for people who want to experience these for their first time without breaking the bank.

Dayton DAEX25 Sound Exciter Pair
These little transducers sound surprisingly good. Stick them on a window or wall and you have a nice full range speaker down to 100 Hz or so. Would probably make for good rear surrounds in a small to medium size room too.

Clark Synthesis TST239 Silver Transducer
not a lot of sound output.
and my sub woofer at the back if my room 8 feet away
shakes the couch more then the transducer does

Clark Synthesis TST209 Tactile Transducer
I love this thing. I had two Aura Bass Shakers on a couch before, which I loved and this thing is even better. It's the least expensive in the line, but it does all the shaking I need it to do.
Make sure the signal its getting is LFE, because if you give it higher frequency content, you will hear it. That said, this thing is an excellent complement to a decent subwoofer.

Surface Transducer Turns Virtually Anything Into A Speaker
After reading some forums and other reviews I first snipped the crossover capacitors off of the drivers for full range sound.
I used (4) exciters on foam-core cardboard and (1) 3" conventional driver per speaker. wired 2 series pairs of exciters in parallel and the conventional in series as such (pos-8=8-0-neg) at 4.5 ohms
unfortunately, any extra low bass would destroy and distort the mids and highs.
Adding a 47 ufarad 100v cylinder capacitor at the negative end of the entire speaker array as a low-cut filter mids and high sounded great since the small conventional driver sourced from a rear channel surround speaker even took care of low-midrange.
I added a powered sub to the mix and the sound image, clarity, and gapless range of the final ~$100 2.1 ch system surpassed that of almost any entry level 5.1 system you can find at your local bigbox electronics store.
If used correctly these drivers saturate the room with crystal clear sound even at low volume, unlike most conical "sound-beaming" speakers.

Clark Synthesis TI-100 Round Natural Rubber Foot
This product helps to keep your transducer's efforts in the furniture and off the floor. I would recommend putting furniture "sliders" under these after installation so that you don't risk tearing them when moving your furniture (couch in my case) around.

Clark Synthesis TST429 Platinum Transducer
Easy to integrate into 7.3 system using Parasound C2 preamp. I would likely want one in each chair, and two or three in a sofa. I'll likely be buying more at some point.

Sonic Splash SSP 4.0 Transducer
Distributed Mode transducers are NOT worth this kind of dough.
Neodymium is a called a "rare Earth element," but it is NOT rare. Look up the facts for yourself.
Neodymium is the second most abundant rare earth element with over 338 ppm in the earth's crust. It should NOT be expensive. In many areas of commerce, manufacturers have duped the public into paying more for neodymium using the phrase "rare-Earth." That is only a class of elements on the periodic table. It does NOT imply that they are all rare or expensive to acquire.
To make a DM transducer work well, you need a large, lightweight, rigid, non-resonant material. The device must be properly coupled to the surface; not too much pressure, but with even consistent contact. This attachment easy, but it is just a cheap plastic twist-on latch, so is not worth more than an extra 10 cents. You make better couplings with a back-pressure plate, a spritz of adhesive and 3" of foam rubber.
Power ratings are hyped. It can't handle 200W for long. DM transducers have to wiggle very fast, and push a lot of mass, so they cannot possibly deliver the same acoustical output from the same watts to a conventional driver, as inefficient as they are.
I have been playing around with and investigating DM speaker technology for a few years now. I ve read the original white-papers, bought numerous transducers and experimented with various materials and sizes of panels. I have listened to and measured the results. They have special acoustical properties and unique applications, but high power handling and fidelity just aren t possible yet.
This may be one of the best DM transducers so far. It may have a decent, cheap, easy coupling-device.
However...Until someone comes up with a truly high power transducer, (300 watts RMS with NO hype or BS) and they develop the perfect material for the panel with a fool-proof coupling mechanism, NO Distributed Mode transducer is worth this much.

Sonic Immersion VT300 I-Beam Transducer
I have used practically every tactile unit out in the market including Clark Synthesis, Aura Bass, Buttkicker and Crowson. It has the fastest transient response of all of them. I am a Pro Audio Engineer who has used these units to suplement the tactile aspect missing in In Ear Monitors. These by far are the most responsive, utterly earth-shaking capable of enormous vibratory transfer. It is not sluggish like a buttkicker, all oohmp and no detail, and it can handle more and produce more than a Clark Synthesis ( Raychem polyswitch protector clicks in way too soon.)
It is quite expensive but sure worth it per pound force moved.

Clark Synthesis TI-300 Neoprene Isolation Furniture Mount
...but they do raise the furniture off the ground more than I'd like. But, they work real well. I eventually need more.

Clark Synthesis TST329 Gold Transducer
I like the Clark Gold's very much. With that, there's not much more to say about a transducer exept the fact that it works and works well. I like how the clark doesn't just shock you with movement but instead does it smoothly.
Anyway, it's a great product which I have on all 7 of my Continental Seating chairs which are also fantastic!!!
